Oct 2006: Sadly, lately Z has merely served as large toy for small boy. And so the Z sat for 5 years ago while I worked too many hours and lived too far away (Beijing, where the communists do not permit old cars).

Travis edited this video together for me. He's been "called home to the mother ship" having recently taken a job with Apple. That's Victor in the car with me - he's building a badass turbo 240Z (albeit slowly).

Oct 1999 : Converted rear brakes from drums to discs (about damn time). Upgraded front brakes to vented rotors (using wide toyota calipers)
Aug 1999 : 126,485 miles

Mar 1999 : MSD replaced 6A after it failed

Nov 1997 : Fired up new motor, broke it in, 75 miles Road Atlanta, no probs.
Fall 1997 : Fashioned a heat shield, which I've needed for years - aluminum panel with foil-coated kevlar underneath.
Jul 1997 : Had Eddie assemble motor from an array of parts I brought him.
Mar 1997 : After 96 miles hard miles at Road Atlanta, spun bearing and seized exiting turn 7
Feb 1997 : Installed toyota truck calipers, drilled rotors. 123,337 miles

Aug 1994 : Engine consumed a camshaft lobe. Ouch.

Sept 1992 : Installed electric fuel pump (got tired of mechanical one dripping oil into alternator)

Oct 1991 : Replaced brakes and bearings (front and rear). 114,200 miles

Sept 1990 : Drove to Gatlinburg With vic, Mike, et al for Rod Run. Now at 111,906 miles
Spring 1990 : Installed 5-speed trans (from New York Block Exchange), MSD 6A (from Gary G car)

Jul 1989 : Installed sweet momo steering wheel
Mar 1989 : Driving around, Chris Dell is brave cameraman

Aug 1988 : After starting up 2.8L engine and suffering valve-train failure due to blocked oil jet, I repaired valve-train and got engine running.

Jan 1988 : Started work on a 2.8L engine (machine work at Youngbloods down on Krog and Doraville Auto Machine

Winter 1984-1985 : Frame rail rusts through completely (note it hanging down) and t/c rod had no anchor on drivers side (scary). Towed home Feb 1985 from Software Atlanta back to my parents place.
